Setiap Zakariya masuk untuk menemui Maryam di mihrab, ia dapati makanan di sisinya. Zakariya berkata: "Hai Maryam dari mana kamu memperoleh (makanan) ini?" Maryam menjawab: "Makanan itu dari sisi Allah". Sesungguhnya Allah memberi rezeki kepada siapa yang dikehendaki-Nya tanpa hisab."
